Dear Readers, I've been looking after this website for about 7 years. It's been a pleasure and often helped me to get in touch and learn about the work of fantastic people. However, it is time for me to move on to other tasks. I'm looking for someone who could take over the site. It is up to them what they will do with it. A website like this is obviously less exceptional and useful today than it was at the time of its creation. But it can still serve as a signpost and entryway for people getting familiar with the field. It requires little investment, and in some years I had sponsors covering the upkeep fee. If you or your grad students are interested in taking the site forward - perhaps transforming it in creative ways - I'd be more than happy to hand it over. The site collects tools and information for anyone interested in the philosophy of action and related topics.

Between January 2018 and January 2019 the site published 45 mini-interviews with researchers working on actions, free will, moral psychology and other related topics under the 'In conversation with' title. Use the shortcuts on the top to navigate.

Some trends in Philosophy of Action

Based on these conversations I've created a presentation indicating some core trends in the field. This is not terribly precise or based on statistics, it's mostly just the result of counting key ideas mentioned in all the mini-interviews. Still, some might find it useful.

Please email us if you want to publicize news, jobs, events, and other relevant updates.
